Question Details

Whenever I work for more than 2 hours in continuous then I am having pain in right hand. What should I do? Do I need to take any medicine?

Answered by Dr. HARINDRA HIMANSHU (ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON)

Hi

Pain following continuous work can be due to spasm or easy fatigability of the hand muscles. The best way is to relax your hand in between and avoid prolonged use. I would like to know if the pain is limited to your right hand only or it involves left hand also. Physiotherapy helps in such cases. I would request you to consult an orthopedician for clinical evaluation and also a physiotherapist to learn the exercises to get relieved.
